While the leaves still cling to the trees and crisp blue skies promise a relief from the New York City summer, we decided one last camp trip was in order. In just over an hour the city makes way for open roads and fleeting autumnal sunshine.
We picked up an Escape Camper on a Friday afternoon from New Jersey and drove up through Harriman State Park, camped in Hipcamps in the Adirondacks and Vermont, then drove back via the Taconic State Parkway.
